The organization of Fresco Dance Company
Fresco Dance Company first took the stage in 2002 as an independent dance ensemble founded by Yoram Karmi. Initially a member of the Choreographers’ Association—an umbrella organization for independent choreographers in Israel—the company has since evolved into one of the leading forces in Israel’s contemporary dance scene. Today, it is based at the Fresco Hub for Dance and Culture, The company is located in Ramat Hahayal, Tel Aviv, Israel's cultural hub.
At the core of Fresco Dance Company’s mission lies a commitment to making the art of dance accessible to diverse audiences and students. The company works to enrich cultural dialogue and education across Israel, while also promoting original Israeli dance works both locally and internationally. Its repertoire features creations by Artistic Director and resident choreographer Yoram Karmi, alongside works by guest artists.

In the 2024-2025 dance season, Fresco Dance Company presented a new creation by guest choreographer Silvia Spekova. The premiere took place in December 2024.
Additionally, the company continues to tour across the country with Yoram Karmi's work, "Mixer", an exhilarating arena performance for the whole family.
Other works in the company’s repertoire still on tour include: "Tattari" by Mor Shani (Artistic Direction: Yoram Karmi), "Genderosity", "Acharit", "The Fisherman and the Golden Fish", "Peter and the Wolf", and "Beauty and the Beast".
